It is strongly recommended that participants stay at Hotel Villa Romanazzi Carducci. Indeed, AVI is well known for its unique conference atmosphere, thanks to its valuable scientific program paired with cordial Italian hospitality. Villa Romanazzi Carducci, with its lovely park, provides the right context for AVI.
Lunches and coffee breaks, as well as the welcome cocktail offered the first day of the conference, will be served in the park. Each day will be full of activities, with presentations, posters and demos during morning and afternoon. Thus, it is very convenient for participants to have their own room at the same hotel.
There are no other hotels nearby that are as comfortable. Villa Romanazzi Carducci is immediately outside Bari’s city center, which is the area North of the central train station. The distance between Villa Romanazzi Carducci and the central train station is 700 meters, going along the railway, so it is not the best walk in Bari. The other nice hotels are located in the city center. Beginning and ending times for the conference events coincide with peaks of traffic in Bari’s city center, so residing in the conference hotel would be ideal. Especially given the discount options the organizers developed with the hotel for AVI participants, which are reported below (breakfast is included):
